Every format is available in person at the studio in São Domingos de Benfica or online — with the same lesson structure. Prices follow the 2025–2026 sheet; the family discount applies to all of them.

How a lesson — and a week — works
One lesson, four movements.
The structure is the same whether you are 6 or 60, in the studio or on a screen. What changes is the repertoire, and that we choose together.
STEP 01
Assessment
The first lesson is a conversation at the piano: what you already do, what you want to play, how much time you really have. Goals are set from your taste, not from a fixed syllabus.
STEP 02
The lesson
Four short blocks so it never drags: technical work, repertoire learned by imitation, sight-reading and a game. Beginners play something recognisable within a few weeks.

STEP 03
The week
Study videos go into Google Classroom after each lesson; on Ad libitum you send a video back and get one in reply. A little every day beats a long Sunday.
STEP 04
The sarau
At least once a year the students play for each other and their families — an audição, a sarau or a masterclass. Make-up lessons can happen there too.

"She has a pianist's fingers"
The start is rarely a straight line.
When Juliana was born, her aunt Carmen — the church organist — told her parents she had a pianist's fingers. She got a small keyboard at 5, started picking out melodies by ear at 10, and her parents, with her grandmother's help, signed her up for lessons.
From 14 to 17 she travelled 28 km alone by bus to the Casa de Música de Ouro Branco. Then a degree in music with a piano specialisation (UFSJ) and a Master's in Musical Performance (UFMG). She has taught since 2009 — conservatoires, social projects, babies' music classes, university entrance candidates.
Since 2020 she teaches in her own studio in Lisbon, on a grand piano, and since 2022 also at Conservatório Artalis in Loures. She writes her own games and arrangements because the right piece at the right level is half the lesson.

Your slot is exclusive — changes after the start only if another student can swap with you.

Late minutes are not made up after the lesson time.

3 make-up lessons a year with 48 h notice (or a medical certificate), to be used within 30 days.

A make-up can be online, a video lesson, a masterclass or the sarau.

Missed without notice counts as given.

The calendar follows the conservatoire school year.
